I'yumi is kind and warm to those she meets, but beneath her golden eyes is a piercing and cold interior. She hides her problems behind a mask of humor and fake kindness, playing it so well that it almost always appears genuine. She is a deeply troubled and hurt woman deep inside, but is extremely loyal and caring to those who she comes to trust.Her backstory is for characters to find out.
Aether Overflowing. Anyone with aether sight can easily see the veritable wellspring of aether contained in Yumi's body. It needs released every now and again, which is something she is working on learning to do.The Echo. Yumi has a strange version of the Echo. This ability only really shows itself when she is in training, as she can sometimes glimpse the past of the person she is training under. Effectively this allows her to advance in a craft faster than she would otherwise be able too. If a craft would take five years to master, she could do it in two if she dedicates herself to it.
Hook #1: I'yumi can often be found simply sitting down and reading through her Red Mage books. She is easily approachable and often takes a seat where somebody can join her. A simple way to start a roleplay, just come sit with her.Hook #2: I'yumi has been looking after herself since the age of 10. Being alone on the streets of Limsa was extremely difficult, and she has met all sorts of people in that time. Perhaps you recognize her from when she was younger? (I am willing to roleplay in the past, but no younger than Yumi being 16, and no ERP below 18).Hook #3: I would like I'yumi to someday learn some black magic. This would take a long time in character, but she has some sort of a prior understanding through Red Magic. Hey there, and thanks for checking out I'yumi's Carrd! Below is a bit about me and what I'm looking for.Firstly, I only roleplay with people who are 18+, preferably 21+. Many of my roleplays have mature themes and I am not comfortable playing with anyone younger than that.Biggest Craving: Long-term contacts! I can enjoy one-off roleplays, but I do not enjoy them nearly as much as something more long term.Server: I am on Mateus but can server hop as needed.
Timezone: I live in the EST timezone. I am Canadian.
Availability: I work 7-3, Monday to Friday, and I am most often available after 7pm. On Tuesday's and Thursday's I practice Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and am not usually available until 9PM if at all.
That being said, I always hop on Discord on my breaks to keep in contact with my RP partners. RP means a lot to me and I take it pretty seriously.
